Bonsais are mostly Dwarf Trees, Shrubs, Evergreens or Succulents.

Dwarf Trees or Shrubs requires evenly moist soil and Bright Light

Evergreens also requires evenly moist soil, Bright Light and slightly cooler temperatures.

Succulents requires very little water and Bright Light

Do not repot Bonsai’s too often,  they are trained to be kept small and most of the time their roots are wired to keep them longer in shallow pots.  Prune them about twice a year to keep their unique shape.  Most Bonsai’s should be placed on a Humidity Tray except for Succulent Bonsai’s.
