I should have read this a couple weeks ago. The leaves are all falling off of my miniature rose, I watered it last week and today. Will it die on me or can it be saved.
Thanks, please email you answer.

I was wondering how can you get these tall slendar plants to get started or shall I say have babies from plant form? I read somewhere you had to cut a notch. However, what you do beyond that is something I have NO idea. PLEASE HELP!

First of all, herbs need air circulation, do not cover them up. you should have a small fan blowing slowly above the plants but do not point the fan directly on them. If that is not
possible, place the fan lower near the ground and point it upwards to circulate the air. There are different types of grow lights, you might have one that is not for herbs but more
for green plants or flowering plants. I always use the sunblaster T5 it's a thin florescent lighting tubes, light weight and can be hung from the ceiling or shelving units. Lights must be about 6 inches above your herbs. During the winter seasons since the daylight is shorter, the grow lights should be on for about 13 to 14 hours a day. When herbs starts to get a good size they should be pruned often, this stimulates them to grow strong and fast. Also make sure that you do not over water herbs, and herbs do like the temperatures a bit cooler, especially Rosemary. I find it hard to grow rosemary unless it's a cool area such as the basement-which is the ideal area to grow herbs. The sunblaster T5 can be found on the internet and is reasonably priced, change the tubes at the beginning of each winter season.

I currently have a terrium with seeds that i have started to grow, this is my first time and im not sure that im doing it right. I have basil, rosemary, parsley, chives, and oregano growing. they have all sprouted little plants but they all are very delicate and im scared that im not doing it right, i have just leaned not to water very often but besides that im really lost. I do have lights on the top and have been coveing the openings with tin foil as to keep the heat in, and i have about 3 inches or dirt in the tank. im confused as what to do next, because they all look so weak... what to do???
